Hybrid power is the biggest theme, raised in 1,438 comments. Gas CR-Vs use a 1.5-litre turbo four with 190 hp and 179 lb-ft and a CVT. Every Canadian hybrid pairs a 2.0-litre four-cylinder with two electric motors for a combined 204 hp and 247 lb-ft, and Real Time AWD is standard. Canada offers four hybrid trims for 2026: Sport, TrailSport, EX-L and Touring. One owner summed up the hybrid: "Absolutely love my 2025 canyon blue CRV hybrid sport. Fabulous seats, steering, ride, mpg and interior. Just feels so solid and high quality."

What is the TrailSport Hybrid?

Styling comes up in 813 comments. The TrailSport Hybrid is new for 2026 and is the first hybrid CR-V TrailSport, according to Honda Canada. It rides on Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires on 18-inch Shark Gray wheels, has an exclusive Ash Green paint colour, and comes with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a moonroof, an 8-speaker audio system and a power tailgate. A TrailSport owner wrote: "I have this exact car, 2026 CRV Trailsport in the same color and I absolutely love it, been driving it for six months."

Fuel economy comes up in 318 comments. Honda Canada rates the Sport, EX-L and Touring hybrids at 6.0 L/100 km (39 mpg US) city and 6.9 L/100 km (34 mpg US) highway, 6.4 L/100 km (37 mpg US) combined. Cargo space behind the second row is 1,113 L (39.3 cu ft) in gas models and 1,028 L (36.3 cu ft) in hybrids, growing to 2,166 L (76.5 cu ft) and 2,030 L (71.7 cu ft) with the seats folded. One parent wrote after a long trip: "Have a Honda CRV hybrid for college son. Drove across country & love love it. The back seat in this car is so comfortable."

Hybrids come with Real Time AWD in Canada, every CR-V has a snow mode, and for 2026 Honda enhanced traction management at low speed on AWD models. Ground clearance is 208 mm (8.2 in) on AWD models. Among hybrids, the Sport Hybrid is the entry point, the TrailSport adds all-terrain tires and a power tailgate, the EX-L adds the 10.2-inch display and eight speakers, and the Touring adds 19-inch wheels, Bose audio, Google built-in and a new Individual drive mode.
