The 2026 Cherokee returns as an all-new, hybrid-only compact SUV built in Mexico. A 1.6-litre turbo four and two electric motors make a combined 210 hp and 230 lb-ft through an eVT, with Jeep Active Drive I 4x4 and rear-axle disconnect standard. It is about 152 mm (6 in) longer than the old Cherokee, with about 30% more cargo space. MotorMouth's notes put range at about 800 km (497 mi) on a tank.
