The IS is Lexus's five-seat compact sport sedan, refreshed for 2026 with a new front fascia, headlamps, wheels and an L-shaped rear light bar, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen on every grade. In Canada every IS is an IS 350 AWD, with a 3.5-litre naturally aspirated V6 making 311 hp and up to 280 lb-ft, a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive. Four F SPORT-based grades run from the F SPORT DESIGN at $56,855 to the Special Appearance Package at $69,567, according to Lexus Canada's February 19, 2026 release. Lexus Canada has also announced a 2027 IS Special Appearance Package in Circuit Green, limited to 350 cars for North America, but has not published its price yet. Natural Resources Canada rates the IS 350 AWD at 10.8 L/100 km (22 mpg US) combined on premium fuel.

Which grade should I choose?

Every Canadian IS is an F SPORT-based IS 350 AWD. The F SPORT DESIGN at $56,855 has 19-inch F SPORT alloys, heated power front seats and a power moonroof. The F SPORT 2 at $60,812 adds bolstered sport seats with ventilation, driver memory, a Panoramic View Monitor and red brake calipers. The F SPORT 3 at $67,367 adds 19-inch forged BBS wheels, Adaptive Variable Suspension, a Sport+ mode, triple-beam LED headlamps and 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio. The Special Appearance Package at $69,567 is an F SPORT 3 in Hakugin Matte White with a white interior, according to Lexus Canada. A 2026 IS owner wrote: "I ended up ordering a 2026 Lexus IS 350 AWD with the F Sport 3 package."

What does it cost?

Lexus Canada lists the 2026 IS 350 AWD from $56,855 for the F SPORT DESIGN to $69,567 for the Special Appearance Package. Lexus Canada's estimated vehicle price for the F SPORT DESIGN is $60,255, including freight, PDI, the A/C charge and maximum dealer and other fees, before taxes and licence. Lexus Canada has not published pricing for the 2027 IS yet.

Does it still have the V6?

Yes. Every Canadian IS uses a 3.5-litre direct-injection, naturally aspirated V6 with 311 hp and up to 280 lb-ft, a six-speed sport direct-shift automatic and Lexus dynamic torque all-wheel drive, according to Lexus Canada, which restates the same figures for all 2027 IS models. There is no hybrid or rear-drive IS in Canada.

What changed for 2026?

The 2026 refresh brings a new front fascia, headlamps and wheels, an L-shaped blade rear light bar, a 12.3-inch Lexus Interface touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and a natural-language assistant on every grade, a 12.3-inch multi-information display, multi-colour ambient lighting, wireless charging on every grade and Lexus Safety System+ 3.0. New colours include Wind, with new Palomino and Radiant Red interiors, and the F SPORT DESIGN and Special Appearance Package grades are new, according to Lexus Canada.

What is the 2027 Special Appearance Package?

Lexus Canada has announced a 2027 IS Special Appearance Package based on the IS 350 F SPORT, in Circuit Green with 19-inch black BBS forged wheels, black NuLuxe seats with Ultrasuede inserts and green stitching, Adaptive Variable Suspension and Mark Levinson audio. Only 350 will be built for North America. Lexus Canada says pricing and full specs will be shared later and expects it at dealers later this year.
