The SE adds blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, a hands-free power liftgate and dual-zone climate control. The NOIR adds a blacked-out exterior, microsuede and synthetic leather seats and a power driver's seat, and the GT adds leather-appointed seats, an 8-speaker sound system and, for 2026, remote engine start. Hybrid and electric power come up in 17 comments. The Eclipse Cross is gas only in Canada. In July 2026 Mitsubishi Canada said the battery electric Eclipse Sportback, a 2027 model, would arrive in early fall, and the Outlander PHEV is its plug-in hybrid SUV.

Take this to your test drive

If you are weighing gas against electric, ask the dealer when the Eclipse Sportback can be test driven.
