The Ariya is a five-seat electric SUV that Nissan Canada continues to offer for 2027, with a refresh arriving at Canadian dealers this fall. The 2027 lineup has three trims: the SV with front-wheel drive at $48,998, the SV+ with all-wheel drive at $52,998 and the Platinum with all-wheel drive at $58,998. Nissan Canada lists a 63 kWh usable battery for the SV and an 87 kWh usable battery for the SV+ and Platinum. MotorMouth's review notes give up to 341 km (212 mi) of range for the SV and up to 406 km (252 mi) for the Platinum; Nissan Canada has not published 2027 range figures yet. Every 2027 Ariya adds a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port for DC fast charging while keeping the J1772 port for AC charging. Figures are labelled with their source.

What is new for 2027?

Nissan Canada says the refreshed Ariya reaches Canadian dealers this fall. It gets a redesigned front end with a body-colour front panel, new 19- and 20-inch wheels, a new Plasma Green colour and two-tone options, a new interior colour, updated suspension tuning for a smoother ride and a built-in NACS port. Owners of earlier models are watching the update: "Such a great car! Can you review the 2026 Nissan Ariya for us US folks who don’t get it. I have a 2023 and love it and want to see the changes."

What does it cost?

Price and value come up in 76 comments. Nissan Canada lists the 2027 Ariya from $48,998 for the SV FWD to $58,998 for the Platinum AWD, with the SV+ AWD at $52,998, and says the SV FWD is eligible for up to $5,000 under the federal Electric Vehicle Affordability Program.

Which battery and drive should I choose?

Electric driving comes up in 75 Ariya comments. Nissan Canada lists the front-wheel drive SV with a 63 kWh usable battery and the all-wheel drive SV+ and Platinum with an 87 kWh usable battery. One shopper explained the choice: "I drove the Equinox EV and wasn’t really impressed. Ended up going with a Nissan Ariya AWD with the bigger battery pack bc it felt way more premium than the Equinox."
